Quote from NotAnIllusion :You should have got the login screen for the router when you went to that IP, from there it's post #4.

and then what?

No offense, I know you're trying your best, but I want simple easy step by step process on how to get a server going. I'm trying to do it for X10 and nothing is happening. I'm sorry for being picky, and you are doing your best, so thanks for that.

O_O Holy crap! 10 foot exhaust?!?! That is sooooo stupid.

Also the lime green car with scissor doors, yeah that's an american thing. That's most likely a '78 Monte Carlo with 3 foot rims. It's called Donk.

Quote from gezmoor :I know the whole scenario appears to be a little on the comical side, however I have to say having read the article I am more than a little concerned about the way the Tesco staff behaved. If he's giving a true account of the situation, I think their behaviour is completey out of order.

If I were the guy, I would be making a formal complaint about the way I was treated also. It's not acceptable for staff to intimidate, (or anywhere close to infact), any member of the public irrespective of what the company policy might be on dress code in the supermarket. They are there to SERVE.

I could have a rather long rant about the behaviour of supermarket employees at this point, but I won't because I actually woke up in a rarther good mood and I'm not going to spoil the rest of my day.

If you were that clerk, you couldn't help but laugh. Just admit it.

Quote from NotAnIllusion :- If you're using Vista or W7, click the Windows icon in the taskbar and type cmd into the search box.
- If you're using some other version of Windows, click Start, then Run.. and type in cmd.

You should get a black window to which you can type stuff.
- Type in ipconfig and write down the value of Default Gateway.
- Open the router's web page with the address you just wrote down, e.g. http://192.168.0.1

ok got that. now what do i do?

Quote from NotAnIllusion :I'm looking at the manual (http://www.netopia.com/equipme ... twareUserGuideV75Clsc.pdf).

- You should first open up Expert Mode.
- Then click Configure, and then Advanced.
- Select Pinholes.
- Add entries for LFS
Pinhole Name: LFS TCP
Protocol Select: TCP
External Port Start: 63392
External Port End: 63392
Internal IP Address: (Your PC's LAN IP)
Internal Port: 63392

Pinhole Name: LFS UDP
Protocol Select: UDP
External Port Start: 63392
External Port End: 63392
Internal IP Address: (Your PC's LAN IP)
Internal Port: 63392

Then save and restart the router. Unsure what you have to do with whatever software firewall you have. It won't hurt to add an exception to the Windows firewall for the dedi lfs.exe just in case.

The site didn't show up. Also, what does LAN mean, and how do I get to it? And, how do I get to "Expert Mode" in I'm guessing the modem? I'm sorry if I have no idea what I'm doing or what to do. I just need a whole lot of help.

Hi lfs people. I'm trying to make an online host, and so far I got it to connect locally. It's just I want to connect it to the internet, and for some it won't. I followed the server guide for windows and so far I am not sure how to do port forwarding. I even went to portforward.com and they don't have my router. So, how do I start a server that people can connect to through LFS Dedi host?

Hey I was wondering, how do you get backgrounds into the scene? Like, I want the car to be beside a building or in one, but I don't know how to put in a background. Can someone show me how to do this?

The movie I just saw is The Brave One. Good movie right there! Somewhat sad ending to it, but the song fit the ending. I totally recommend this movie. Also, it is rated R so for those who aren't old enough to see it, too bad.

ok I got this one off a website.

One day a blonde office worker comes out to the warehouse to walk around. As she is walking she looks up and sees a co-worker hanging upside down from an I-Beam in the ceiling.

She asks "What ARE you doing"?

The co-worker says "I need a few days off but the boss won't let me have them so I'm hanging upside down from this I-Beam acting crazy.

The boss will see me, think I need rest and send me home for a few days".

The blonde says "That won't work...uh ohh...here comes the boss now, you're in for it".

The boss spots the blode looking up and sees the man hanging up there and asks him "Just WHAT do you think you are DOING?!!"

The man says (in a "crazy" voice) I'm a light bulb...I'm a light bulb"

The boss says "Buddy, you need some rest..take the rest of today and tomorrow off and get some sleep".

As he is climbing down he winks at the blonde showing her it worked.

The blonde thinks about this for a moment and starts to follow the man out the door.

The boss asks her "WHERE do you think YOU'RE going?"

The blonde says "I can't work in the dark".

Quote from squidhead :Well, it's not like they rebuilt it from ground up, which WOULD result in a worse car, they've just improved it a bit.
Judging by the performance figures, I'd say it should definetly be better than the original
Not a fan though

Crap! I have the same birthday as a freakin rapper. :ashamed:

1943, Born on this day, Billy J Kramer, singer, (1964 UK No.1 & US No.7 single 'Little Children').

More shame for me. :ashamed:

But I skipped this one. 1940, Born on this day, Ginger Baker, drummer, Cream, (1966 UK No.11 single 'I Feel Free'). Ginger Bakers Airforce.
